High Mountain Cabin Fidjeland – Ski in / ski out

Welcome to the Høyfjellshytta at Fidjeland – a spacious and inviting mountain cabin that gives you the real high mountain feeling, combined with good comfort and a great location in Sirdal. The cabin is brand new from 2025, has a usable area of approx. 100 m² and offers sleeping space for up to 9 people, making it well suited for both families and groups of friends.

The cabin is located in a scenic location on Fidjeland, within walking distance of both a restaurant and ski lifts, which makes for a very comfortable holiday – whether you are here for alpine skiing, cross-country skiing or quiet mountain days. The area offers great hiking opportunities all year round, and in the summer there are also good swimming opportunities in the surrounding area.

Inside, the cabin offers bright and functional living spaces with plenty of space for socializing. The living room and kitchen have an open layout that makes it easy to gather around meals and have pleasant evenings after an active day out.

Fireplace provides extra warmth and ambiance on cool days.

The cabin has 4 comfortable bedrooms and a stylish and modern bathroom, with plenty of space and a consistently high standard. Large windows let in plenty of daylight and provide great views of the surrounding mountain landscape.

Outside you will find great outdoor areas where you can enjoy fresh mountain air, your morning coffee or quiet evenings after the day's adventures. From Fidjeland you have easy access to iconic hiking destinations such as Hilleknuten, Kjerag, Lysefjord and Preikestolen - perfect for day trips and larger nature experiences.

Welcome to Soleiknutten – a new and modern mountain cabin with a perfect location at the top of the Soleiknutten cabin field in Sirdal. This cabin offers ski-in/ski-out access to Ålsheia Alpine Resort and is located right next to a lighted trail, making it easy to get out for both cross-country skiing and winter hiking. The central location also provides easy access to a diverse range of activities year-round, whether you prefer alpine skiing, mountain biking or mountain hiking.

 

The cabin is of a consistently high standard and is ideal for both winter and summer stays. Here you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and beautiful surroundings, while having access to modern comforts.

The cabin has 4 bedrooms with 13 fixed beds, and a sofa bed that provides space for 2 extra people. There is a toilet on the 1st floor and a full bathroom on both the 2nd and 3rd floors. Underfloor heating in the entrance, side entrance, hallway, kitchen, living room and bathroom. There is also an air purifier in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a dining table that can seat 12 people.

The cabin is private and sheltered, situated on a hill with a southwest-facing location that provides excellent sun conditions and stunning views in all directions. It has three cozy bedrooms, all with functional furnishings and modern amenities such as water, electricity and internet - ideal for both adults and children.

Access is easy with an asphalt road almost all the way to the cabin, and you have parking for 2 cars right at the door, but please note that it can be challenging in winter to get there on days with strong winds and snowdrifts, as the snow can move and create plowing challenges. In such conditions, it is recommended to be prepared for extra time for transportation and snow shoveling. With large windows that let in plenty of daylight, you can enjoy the nature and the view from every room.
